Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Cook to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, plate meals, and ensure accurate garnishes and presentation of hot menu items.

You will follow standardized recipes, maintain high-volume kitchen operations, assist with inventory, purchasing and rotation of stock, and support the Dietary Manager in their absence to ensure timely meal delivery.

Qualifications

• Classically trained and experienced in a high-volume culinary environment.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion food accurately.
• Inventory management and purchasing responsibilities.
• Capable of handling last minute requests for events.

Responsibilities

• Cook an assortment of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items and ensure proper presentation on hot dishes.
• Clean kitchen and equipment before and after use; maintain hygiene in line with standards.
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation, purchasing, and recipe development.
