Job summary

Aerotek in Tea, SD is seeking a skilled welder to join our fabrication team. You will follow customer specifications and engineering drawings to gather materials, assemble, and weld bases or enclosures. Set up equipment and weld using MIG, gas, and arc processes.

Install specialized parts on enclosures and bases, inspect weld quality, and repair products as needed. This is a fully onsite role with growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Attention to detail in welds and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Follow customer specifications and engineering drawings.
• Gather materials, lay out, assemble, and weld bases or enclosures.
• Set up welding equipment and perform MIG, gas, and arc welding.
• Install parts on enclosures and bases using cutting, welding, and grinding tools.
• Inspect weld quality and repair products as needed.
• Review designs and drawings (blueprints) as required.
