Job summary

HMT is seeking a Machine Operator at the Tomball, TX location. You will perform metal fabrication using shearing, stamping, punching, bending, slitting and related processes, operating power and brake presses in a safety-conscious environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years manufacturing experience (sheet metal preferred), forklift training, and the ability to read engineering drawings; good English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Forklift training completed.
• English language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate power and brake presses to punch, cut, form and slit parts.
• Setup and operate machinery per work orders and safety rules.
• Monitor quality by inspecting first piece and every 100th piece.
• Maintain WIP and finished goods traceability with labels on pallets.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow 5S housekeeping and dispose scrap per procedures.
