Resource Options, Inc. (ROI) is hiring a Skilled Mechanical Laborer to join the installation team based in Connecticut.

This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical background seeking steady work, hands-on experience, and room to grow. You will work with lead installers on installs of trash chutes, compactors, dumpsters, and recycling equipment; report to the shop each morning; transition over time to service teams; follow safety protocols and job-site procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of mechanical experience (plumbing, welding, HVAC, or similar skilled labor) or related schooling.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand basic plans and schematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Strong work ethic and interest in long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Installations of trash chutes, compactors, dumpsters, and recycling equipment with lead installers.
• Report to the shop each morning before heading to job sites.
• Assist with mechanical installation, maintenance, and repairs.
