Solar Manufacturing is seeking a mechanically inclined individual for a 1st shift Mechanical Assembly role (6:00am – 2:30pm, Mon–Fri) in Bucks County, PA. You’ll assemble vacuum furnaces, fabricate steel structures, read drawings, and operate basic shop tools in a team environment.

Qualifications include a Technical School or GED with 2–4 years in industrial manufacturing or machine operation, plus experience with reading schematics and using hand tools.

Qualificações

• Technical School degree or High School Diploma (GED) plus relevant work experience.
• 2-4 years of industrial manufacturing, maintenance, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding mechanical assembly drawings and schematics, equipment specifications, and OEM instruction manuals.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools, precision measuring devices, portable power tools, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, and stationary shop equipment such as a drill press.

Responsabilidades

• Mechanical assembly and construction of vacuum furnaces and their sub-assemblies.
• Fabrication and assembly of steel structures, vacuum and gas flanged pipe assemblies.
• Layout and fabrication of sheet metal components and enclosures.
• Plumbing of pneumatic lines for actuating components and water-cooling systems.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Work efficiently and safely while ensuring company quality standards are maintained and following safety protocols.
