Job summary

Steffes-Corporatio seeks a Level I/II/III assembler to assemble, test, inspect, and package products following standard work and training guides. The role requires reading drawings, setting up joints, and performing leak and pressure tests as part of quality and safety practices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills; strong manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 70 pounds; the role advances with training and potential leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet, etc.) is needed.
  • Written and verbal communication, math, reading, and spelling skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and understand standard work, training guides, and acceptance criteria to meet customer and QMS requirements.
  • Operate and perform safe operations inspections on cranes.
  • Read and understand drawings to assemble product.
  • Torque and mark joints to the appropriate value.
  • Perform assembly/testing functions using hand and power tools and fixtures.
  • Set up and perform leak tests and assist in locating leaks in plumbing.
  • Assist in pressure testing pipe to requirements.
  • Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere and collaborate with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
