Job summary

Kortman Masonry, Inc. is hiring a full-time Masonry Professional to operate on-site in the Grand Rapids region. You will perform brick, block, and stone masonry, read plans, set up materials, and ensure quality and safety on the job site.

Applicants should have strong masonry and renovation experience, be safety‑minded, and able to work in a team environment. A sign-on bonus may be available for experienced candidates.

Qualifications

• Brickwork and block work masonry experience required.
• Stonework including cutting, shaping and setting experience.
• Renovation/restoration experience a plus.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of tools.
• Physical ability to lift, climb ladders or scaffolding, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Apprenticeship or vocational training considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on masonry work: lay brick, block, and stone.
• Read plans or instructions and set up materials and equipment.
• Conduct prep work and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Collaborate with team and follow safety protocols.
