Job summary

Laphcc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to install, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, and building systems across our facility in California. The role emphasizes safe, efficient maintenance and high-quality service for residents and staff.

Key duties include servicing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boiler, and hydraulic systems, inspecting machinery, performing preventative maintenance, and operating shop tools. Full-time schedule with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or 6 months–1 year of related experience (or equivalent)
Ability to read instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectively
Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios)

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors
Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment
Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Repair and maintain facility structures and resident accommodations
Operate machine tools (lathe, drill, grinder, milling machines)
Complete work orders and assigned projects in a timely manner
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Report safety hazards and incidents immediately
