Job summary

Laphcc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support facility operations in California. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure safe and high-quality maintenance services across the facility.

Responsibilities include handling plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring work orders are completed promptly. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 6 months–1 year related experience (or equivalent combination).
• Ability to read instructions, write basic reports, and communicate effectively.
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios).
• Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and vendors.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Repair and maintain facility structures and resident accommodations.
