ECHO Suites Springfield, MO is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep of hotel facilities. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, with basic technical knowledge and the ability to read manuals.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems is required.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools is expected.
• Must be able to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills are important.
• Physical stamina and dexterity are essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, touch up painting.
• Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Install appliances and equipment.
• Garden/yard upkeep including mowing and trash collection.
• Replace light bulbs and conduct maintenance tasks as needed.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation).
• Check safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) functionality.
• Collaborate with workers during renovations.
• Report to the Chief Engineer (if on staff).
