Monroechamber is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Kenosha, Wisconsin, for the 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am, Tue-Sat). Salary ranges between $77,000 and $78,000 per year.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Robotics, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance/repair experience.
  • At least 1 year of technical or trades training in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Preferred experience maintaining high-speed production or packaging equipment.
  • Preferred welding and fabrication experience; preferred experience training or assisting other maintenance employees.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience repairing industrial production equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, grinders, saws, machine tools, and/or welding equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the majority of the shift.
  • Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry tools, equipment, and parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and packaging equipment.
  • Monitor equipment operation and make adjustments to improve performance.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Identify mechanical failures and determine appropriate repairs.
  • Clean, lubricate, adjust, and repair machinery.
  • Disassemble equipment to inspect and replace worn or damaged components.
  • Reassemble equipment according to proper procedures.
  • Inspect equipment for defects, hazards, and needed repairs.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot machinery.
  • Repair and fabricate components using shop equipment and applicable welding techniques.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Partner with production to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Assist with equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Position Title: Maintenance Technician Wage: $77,000.00-$78,000.00/year Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:00pm-6:00am Tuesday-Saturday

We are seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics for direct hire opportunities with a growing manufacturing company in Kenosha, Wisconsin. These positions offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, long-term stability, and opportunities for growth.

The Maintenance Mechanic will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and packaging equipment. This position works closely with production and technical teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and maintain safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
