Job summary

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience or military background in a skilled craft.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge evidenced by troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with PLCs, conveyors, sensors, and motor control.

Responsibilities

• Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems (circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors).
• Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts.
• Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and repair PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and machine components.
• Document work performed by written/electronic methods.
• Solve problems to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Who we’re looking for

Toyota’sGeneral Maintenance Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Skilled Maintenance Technician. The primary responsibility of this role ispreventative maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standards.

What we offer

• Starting hourly rate of $35.90 - $47.95
• $1.50 hourly shift premium (for Mid Shift and Night Shift)
• KPI and quarterly attendance bonus
• Shift hours:
  • Monday through Thursday Day Shift: 6am-4:30pm
  • Monday through Thursday Mid Shift: 11am-9:30pm
  • Monday through Thursday Night Shift: 8pm-6:30am
  • Friday through Sunday Day Shift: 6am-6:30pm
  • Friday through Sunday Night Shift: 6pm-6:30am

What you’ll be doing

Skilled Maintenance Technicians support the production, quality, cost, and safety goals of the manufacturing operation and plant facilities. All skilled personnel are responsible for preventive maintenance, process and equipment improvements, and effective troubleshooting. These responsibilities include:

• Test and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment or systems (Involving circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives, etc.)
• Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts (metal, plastic, and wood) for projects, equipment repair, maintenance work orders, and machine modifications
• Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and/or repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and machine components
• Perform basic administrative skills including documentation of work performed by written/electronic methods
• Ability to problem solve and continuously improve safety, quality, and productivity

What you bring

• Industrial maintenance and/or military experience in a skilled craft or degree/certificate in Industrial Maintenance Technology/Industrial Electrical Technology
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Technical knowledge and skills in PLCs, Conveyor Systems, Belt and Chain Maintenance, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Photo Eyes and Sensors, Relays and Power Supplies, 480 V or greater Control Systems
• Available to work any shift including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns

Added bonus if you have

• Degree, diploma, or certification of completion for studies of electricity or industrial maintenance
• Documentation of any state Journeyman’s Electrical License current or expired
• Experience working with and/or repairing Robotics
