Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Skilled Maintenance I to support safe and reliable patient care by maintaining hospital and clinic facilities. The role covers routine maintenance, repairs, and supporting renovation projects in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot building systems, and maintain maintenance records while upholding safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, day-shift position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair activities throughout hospital and clinic facilities.
• Assist with facility improvement, renovation, and construction projects as assigned.
• Install, move, and assemble furniture, equipment, and fixtures to support operational needs.
• Complete drywall, painting, signage, and general facility repair projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment and building systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete assigned work.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and required documentation accurately and timely.
• Support emergency repairs, after-hours needs, and urgent maintenance requests as required.
• Assist Skilled Maintenance II and Skilled Maintenance III team members with projects and specialized repairs.
• Promote safe facility operations through adherence to organizational safety standards and maintenance best practices.
