As an Environmental Services Aide, you'll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and healing environment that supports exceptional patient care and positive experiences for everyone who enters our facilities.
What You'll Do
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, treatment areas, and common spaces
- Prepare discharged and transferred patient rooms for new admissions
- Follow healthcare cleaning and infection prevention standards
- Maintain environmental services equipment, carts, and supplies
- Collect, transport, and dispose of waste according to established procedures
- Assist with room turnover to support efficient patient flow
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment
- Participate in departmental quality and performance initiatives
- Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and coworkers
- Support organizational safety and infection prevention efforts
