Position Overview

We are hiring a Skilled Machinist responsible for operating and setting up various machines with close tolerances. The role includes performing setups, programming, manual data input, minor modifications, and training others. The position is based in Lake Zurich, IL, and is fully on-site.

Pay Range: $27.00/hr. to $40.00/hr.

Schedule: 7 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced setup operations and machine programming.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor modifications to programs.
• Setup and operate all machines on the production floor.
• Train others on CNC machine setup and operation.
• Measure parts with precision and train others in proper measuring techniques.
• Participate in team activities and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Accurately input production data into ERP systems.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Proper measuring techniques and knowledge of materials.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
