Job summary

White Cap is seeking a machine operator to maintain and operate various machines including CNC-related equipment in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include running saws, drills, grinders, and presses while ensuring production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety operating procedures.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing.
• 1 to 3 years' related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned machines (resistance welding, brake presses, mechanical power presses) and related equipment.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Packs finished materials and loads/unloads as required.
• Verifies that finished work conforms to specifications.
• Completes documentation for process monitors and production tickets.
• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and may fix issues during shift.
