Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Ability to read and understand safety operating procedures and to use all safety features and equipment.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, counting and tape measure use.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned machines, including resistance welding, brake presses, and mechanical power presses.
• Operates saws, drills, and grinders.
• Meets production requirements.
• Keeps work area clean and safe.
• Packs finished materials and loads/unloads as needed.
• Checks finished work against specifications.
• Documents process monitors and production tickets accurately.
• Starts and observes machines to detect malfunctions and may fix issues during shift.
