Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a highly dependable team player to join our staff as a Skilled Machine Operator on the Front End of our production lines, including Fillers, PODS and Retorts. This role offers on-demand wage access and opportunities to support our reputation for quality products.

Shifts include day and night, with three 12-hour weeks and occasional Sundays. You will help ensure safety, quality, and productivity while maintaining accurate records and working with SAP systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1-3 years prior manufacturing experience required.
• Food & bottling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply to plant environment.
• Be an effective communicator.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operate Filler, PODS or Retorts.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance; input items into SAP.
• Engage in problem solving to improve safety, quality, yields and productivity.
• Maintain production records (written and computer-based).
• Review charts, screens, quality check sheets and specifications.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain equipment.
• Assist with training in the area as needed.
• Maintain safety/quality awareness and urgency.
• Foster teamwork aligned with Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
• Follow safety policies and DFA GMPs.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Dairy Farmers of America is looking for highly dependable team player to join our staff as a SKILLED MACHINE OPERATORto run equipment on the Front End of our Production lines which would include Fillers, PODS, Retorts.

Positions available on day and night shifts.

Shifts are Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday OR Thursday Friday and Saturday.

Day Shift is 6:00AM - 6:30PM. Night Shift is 6:00PM - 6:30AM.

All Crews in Production are required to work an occasional Sunday - which are preplanned.

Work three 12 hours shifts each week and get paid for 40 hours.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Operating Filler, PODS or Retorts
• Troubleshooting, performing minor maintenance repairs and inputting items into the SAP system.
• Engage in problem solving to assist in improving safety, quality, yields and productivity.
• Maintain accurate production records that are written, and computer based.
• Review charts, screens, quality check sheets and specifications that are in both hard copy and electronic format.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment.
• Assist with training efforts in functional area as needed
• Maintain a high level of safety and quality awareness and a high degree of urgency.
• Foster teamwork consistent with our company and plant Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
• Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Follows all DFA GMP's and works in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.
