Allegheny Health Network is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will assist with examinations, prepare equipment, document clinical information, and help coordinate procedures and testing.

This role requires a high school diploma, LPN licensure or eNLC, IV certification, and knowledge of OASIS. ACLS/PALS may be required in some areas, with HIPAA compliance and patient safety emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• LPN licensure in state or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• IV course certification is required.
• Knowledge of OASIS documentation and assessment.
• ACLS or PALS may be required based on area of practice.

Responsabilités

• Performs general nursing care per standards under RN/physician guidance.
• Assists with equipment prep and supports treatment, exams, and testing.
• Collects data, prepares patient for exam, and documents on patient record.
• Orders and gathers diagnostic tests as directed; assists with results.
• Schedules procedures and obtains necessary authorizations.
• May administer injections or meds and collect specimens as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
