Spokane Valley Health and Rehab of Cascadia is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide routine care, monitor residents, and assist the physician and RN. The role includes supervising nursing assistants and maintaining confidential medical records.

A sign-on bonus of $6,000.00 is offered for full-time employment. Candidates should have an active LPN license, be able to react quickly in emergencies, and communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff.

Formación

• Current Practical Nursing License.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Effective communication with residents, families, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct care and/or assists with care as directed and within scope of practice; initiates SBAR and collaborates with the RN.
• Participates in resident evaluations and care planning; revises assessments as needed.
• Reviews physician orders; communicates with physicians and documents per regulations.
• Documents care and observations in the clinical record promptly according to guidelines.
• Participates in medication management to promote safety and effectiveness for residents.
