Job summary

PSC Construction is seeking a Skilled Laborer I to join our Omaha, NE team. The role involves safe use of hand and power tools, concrete forming, trench work, pipe installation, and material handling on site.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in construction, and a strong work ethic with good communication. Travel may be required and valid ID/transportation are needed for site access.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction preferred.
Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel if required.
No criminal misdemeanors in the last 5 years or felonies in the last 7 years.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties as needed.
Assist with digging trenches, operating heavy machinery, and construction tasks.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and budgets.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and site personnel.
