Job Description - Skilled Laborer - Grading (250000V2)

What You’ll Do:

1. Perform General Physical Activities: Work with grading, utility, or erosion crews to complete excavation, utility, paving, and concrete projects. Tasks include installing erosion materials, using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, shoveling materials, grading trenches, laying pipes, sealing joints, and other duties.
2. Repair and Maintain Equipment: Assist in servicing, repairing, and adjusting equipment. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them according to project plans.
3. Inspect Worksites: Conduct daily inspections to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance, maximizing productivity.
4. Operate Vehicles and Equipment: Operate heavy construction machinery and power tools.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience: Previous construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices: Knowledge of grading or roadway construction preferred.
• Flexibility: Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills: Basic knowledge of industrial tools, their use, and maintenance.
