Job summary

Lehman-Roberts, a Granite Company, is hiring a Skilled Laborer in Hernando, Mississippi. This full-time role supports highway construction and aggregate operations. The job requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety.

You will measure distances, set stakes, mix concrete, level earth, erect scaffolding, and assist equipment operators to maintain alignment and grade specifications. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with prior construction or labor experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience.
• Appropriate training and experience required.
• Physically able to stand, walk, lift, and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Measure distances from grade stakes, drive stakes, and align forms.
• Mix concrete using portable mixer and finish surfaces as required.
• Erect scaffolding, shoring, and braces; install and seal pipe sections.
• Explain alignment and grade requirements to operators; assist in positioning and leveling.
