Job summary

Sigma is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our equipment, systems, and production environment running safely and smoothly. You’ll handle troubleshooting and preventive maintenance while supporting a range of machinery and control systems.

Ideal candidates will have technical certification in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and hands-on experience with electrical systems and welding. The role may require weekend or shift work and a valid US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical certification in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and welding systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, including control systems.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, lubricate, and replace machine parts.
• Weld and repair structures, machinery, tanks, valves, and sheet metal.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all maintenance work meets OSHA and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding repairs beyond scope.

Position Summary

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and welding systems

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical certification in Industrial Maintenance or related field

• Eligible to work in the United States

Preferred:

• At least two (2) years of industrial or facility maintenance experience
• Working knowledge of welding
• Bilingual Spanish

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, and use of hands in repetitive motions
• Frequent reaching above shoulder level
• Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, and varying noise levels
• Work environments ranging from 35° to 95°+ Fahrenheit

Work Environment

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and either 2nd or 3rd Shift

Pay

21.39-26.54/hourly
