Job summary

Central State Hospital in Louisville, KY is seeking a full-time Mechanical Technician - HVAC. Work hours are 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC controls and equipment, plus general maintenance tasks such as plumbing and carpentry.

Emergency call duties apply. Required: Journeyman HVAC license or Associates degree in HVAC/refrigeration, valid driver's license, high school diploma or GED, 3 years of experience in automation HVAC controls or

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC license or Associates degree in HVAC/refrigeration.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years experience in automation HVAC controls or refrigeration repairs.
• Knowledge in refrigeration systems or HVAC controls.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electric and carpentry.
• Must have and maintain valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC controls, machinery and related equipment.
• Perform general maintenance: plumbing, carpentry, flooring, ceiling tiles, locksmith, landscaping.
• Respond to emergencies and work as needed.
