Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an Equipment Operator to handle heavy mobile equipment on-site in Arizona. Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, safe operation of loaders, dozers, haul trucks, and related duties to keep the site clean and efficient.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English; bilingual ability is a plus. Flexibility with shifts, overtime and weekends is expected in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Able to read, write and speak English; bilingual is a plus.
• Wlexibility with scheduling, overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily or pre-shift inspections on vehicles and operate safely.
• Operate all mobile and heavy-duty equipment on site (dozers, loaders, haul truck, etc.).
• Perform clean-up to keep tools, equipment, and areas clean, orderly and safe.
• Comply with company safety rules and regulations.
• Be able to multi-task in related duties such as maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed.
• Understand, interpret, and execute instructions written or spoken.
