Job summary

Cemex US in Marana, AZ is seeking an Equipment Operator to operate heavy mobile equipment on site, including front end loaders, backhoe, skid steer, and haul truck. You will perform daily or pre-shift inspections and help keep tools and work areas clean and safe.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience with heavy equipment, a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility for shift hours, overtime and weekends. English literacy is essential, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Flexibility with scheduling, overtime and weekends.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily or pre-shift inspections on vehicles and safe operation.
• Operate all mobile/heavy equipment on site (dozers, loaders, haul trucks).
• Perform clean-up to keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, orderly and safe.
• Comply with company safety rules and regulations.
• Multi-task in maintenance/repair and yard loading when needed.
• Understand, interpret, and execute verbal and written instructions.
