Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience operating heavy equipment
• Minimum 5 years of experience in position or related field
• High School diploma/GED equivalent

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mobile equipment (front end loader, backhoe, skid steer, haul truck)
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and operate vehicles safely
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and comply with safety rules
• Be able to perform maintenance/repair and yard loading as needed
• Read, interpret, and execute verbal and written instructions
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations
• Adhere to CEMEX and OSHA rules and regulations
• Wear proper safety equipment on the plant grounds
• Meet or exceed safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
