Job summary

City of Bartow seeks a reliable municipal groundskeeper to maintain the golf course and related facilities, under regular supervision. The work includes mowing, edging, trimming, planting, and keeping grounds free of weeds and debris.

You will perform IPM inspections weekly, apply approved insecticides and fungicides, calibrate fertilizer spreaders, and operate a range of landscape maintenance equipment safely throughout Bartow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License within six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and mow golf course and facilities.
• Mows fairways, roughs, and greens; keeps course neat and safe.
• Perform IPM inspections and apply insecticides/fungicides weekly.
• Operate landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
