Job summary

Golf Course South Lakes is seeking a full-time grounds maintenance worker to care for the golf course grounds, operate tractors and equipment, and perform turf improvements. The role involves mowing greens and fairways, irrigation setups, and occasional tree and shrub care, under general supervision.

Responsibilities include following safety protocols, reading and following instructions, and contributing to general course upkeep and estate maintenance as required.

Qualifications

• Completion of the eighth grade and over one year of laborer experience in maintenance or construction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and turf to a playable condition.
• Operate tractors and equipment for turf care and chemical applications.
• Cut turf on greens and tees with mowers.
• Connect hoses and sprinkler systems for irrigation.
• Dig and rake ground to prepare greens and improve drainage.
• Possibly plant and trim trees and shrubs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
