Job summary

City of Cocoa Beach invites applicants to join the Golf Course team, performing unskilled to semi-skilled grounds maintenance, mowing tees, fairways, rough, greens, and sand traps, and assisting in course setup under supervision.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1–2 years of landscape maintenance experience, with ability to operate light tractors and trimming equipment; physically able to work outdoors in Florida conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school and 1–2 years of landscape maintenance experience.
• Experience on golf course grounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates light tractors, mowing equipment and string trimmers to maintain tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens.
• Performs watering, raking sand traps, aerating greens and edging cart paths as directed.
• Assists in course setup by changing pin/tee placements and maintaining facilities.
• Polices grounds around clubhouse, picking up debris as needed.
