Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in Virginia Beach, VA, is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to perform back-hoe and mini-excavator work on residential and commercial sewer and water projects. CDL Class A is required; safety is priority under OSHA guidelines; nights and weekends may be needed as workload demands.

Operate excavators, load equipment, and work with a crew to complete tasks efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction and on-time project completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential and commercial construction.
• Must possess a current CDL Class A license.
• Trenchless water, sewer and gas experience is a plus.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Complete jobs within specified timelines.

Responsabilités

• Operates back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers, and other excavation machinery to excavate and load materials.
• Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Work with a crew to complete excavation projects efficiently.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide service.
• Maintain equipment and arrange tools from branch/rental sources.
• Perform work in confined spaces and open trenches safely.
• Navigate to job sites promptly and operate service vehicles between locations.
