Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service in the United States is seeking an Excavator Operator to support residential and commercial sewer and water service repairs.

Responsibilities include operating backhoe and mini excavator, loading equipment, following safety procedures and coordinating with a crew.

Must have CDL Class A, construction experience, and flexibility to work nights and weekends; trenchless experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Construction experience in residential and commercial projects.
• CDL Class A license required for the role.
• Experience with trenchless water, sewer and gas is a plus.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability to complete jobs within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers and other excavation machinery to excavate and load materials on job sites.
• Load, unload and secure equipment on trailers.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Collaborate with a crew to complete excavation work efficiently.
• Interact with customers and provide professional service.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate with branches/rental companies.
• Perform work in confined spaces and open trenches safely.
• Arrive on site promptly and drive/operate service vehicles between locations.
