Job summary

TIC – The Industrial Company is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to excavate, move, and grade materials on road projects. You will operate and maintain several types of power construction equipment and work with a team to meet project timelines.

The role requires basic maintenance skills, safe operation practices, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Overtime, night, and weekend shifts may be required depending on workload.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong communication with supervision and management.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple types of heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade material.
• Load, haul, and unload gravel, dirt, and sand on various surfaces.
• Trench and construct ditches for culverts and pipes; manage debris.
• Perform routine checks and lubrication on equipment and fluids.
• Train others in safe operation and basic job techniques when required.
• Inspect equipment and materials to identify defects and causes.
