Job summary

Windsor Hospitality in Brea, California is seeking a Skilled Engineer to maintain and repair hotel facilities. You will use hand and power tools to support building operations while prioritizing guest satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities include painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC support, and responding to guest requests. Training resources are provided. This is a full-time role with a rotating Mon–Sun schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools for routine maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and blueprints.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel facilities using hand tools and power tools.
• Repair painting, plumbing, and electrical work as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.
• Replace air conditioner filters and assist with HVAC tasks.
• Notify management of major repairs and equipment needs.
• Ensure work requests are recorded and completed on time.
• Maintain uniform and badge while on property.
• Support company values and guest service philosophy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Why do we need you?

To repair and maintain the physical structure of the hotel using hand tools and power tools.

What you will do:

1. Maintains hotel by performing minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools.
2. Training resources for Engineers.
3. Monitors performance compliance to accept building standards by Engineers II & III.
4. Respond in a courteous manner to all guests questions, compliant, and/or request to ensure strong guests satisfaction.
5. Replaces air conditioner filters.
6. Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
7. May tend furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.
8. Execution of assigned tasks, projects, or programs, as instructed by the department’s management and ensure completion competently within a given time.
9. To ensure any work requests that may come from the hotel guests or senior management are responded to within a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken.
10. Required to always be in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
11. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
12. All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is full‑time with a rotating Mon‑Sun schedule. Ability to work any scheduled day of the week, including holidays, based on business needs is required.
