Job summary

Brice Equipment, LLC is seeking an Industrial Services Technician II to support the lead splicer in belt installation, repair, and vulcanized/mechanical splicing. You will ensure tools and materials are ready, assist with measurements, and maintain safe, efficient work areas on client sites.

The role develops into a full splicer over time, with hands-on responsibilities and opportunities to mentor junior technicians and work across shutdowns and maintenance windows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of conveyor belting or related industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to pass drug, driving, and background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform conveyor belt splicing, repairs, and installations.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on belting and rubber systems.
• Provide on-site support during shutdowns and emergency maintenance.
• Mentor Level I Technicians in safe work practices and technical skills.
• Communicate job status and requirements with clients and team.
• Set up tools, equipment, and materials before starting.
• Follow lockout/tagout and site safety policies.
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free work areas.
