Job summary

Brice Equipment LLC in Alaska is seeking an Industrial Program Services Lead Technician to oversee mechanical and vulcanized belt splicing, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance across mining, industrial, and construction sites.

You will lead small crews, train junior technicians, ensure MSHA/OSHA safety standards, coordinate with the General Foreman, and represent the company with clients to deliver reliable service and high quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Five (5) + years of experience in conveyor belting, rubber repair, or heavy industrial maintenance.
• Supervisory or lead-hand experience on industrial projects is required.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead small crews during conveyor belt installation, repair, and shutdown projects.
• Execute complex vulcanizing, pulley lagging, and rubber lining applications with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot advanced system failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform belt tracking, tensioning, alignment, system adjustments, and replacements.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation (splice reports, cure logs, measurement sheets).
• Coordinate with the General Foreman to plan job scope, manpower, and material requirements.
• Represent the company professionally with clients and ensure high-quality service delivery.
