Job summary
Brice Equipment LLC in Alaska is seeking an Industrial Program Services Technician II to support belt installation, maintenance, and vulcanized/splicing operations. You will work under the lead Conveyor Belt Splicer, ensuring tools are ready, materials prepped, and work areas safe and efficient.
The role involves on-site, hands-on work at client facilities, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and grow into a full splicer role.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two+ years of conveyor belting or related industrial maintenance experience.
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
- Must pass drug, driving, and background screenings.
- Willingness to travel for projects.
- Ability to work long shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform conveyor belt splicing, repairs, and installations.
- Inspect and maintain belting and rubber systems.
- Provide on-site support during shutdowns and emergency maintenance.
- Mentor Level I Technicians in safe work practices and technical skills.
- Communicate with clients, supervisors, and peers on job status and requirements.
- Follow lockout/tagout rules and safety policies.
