JSMM INC. is seeking a Construction Specialist – Lead Residential and Commercial Field Repairs to perform high-end finish carpentry, drywall hanging/finishing, painting, and light electrical/plumbing fixes across multiple sites.

Travel is required, and you will be the face of our field operations, delivering quality workmanship and client satisfaction. This full-time role includes overtime, a company vehicle, weekly or bi-weekly pay, medical coverage, and a tool/tech package to support on-site

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in general construction, remodeling, or property maintenance.
• Proven drywall hanging/finishing and finish carpentry skills.
• Ability to perform basic handyman electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Willingness to travel frequently to different job sites.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-end finish carpentry and light structural carpentry to restore interiors to pre-loss condition.
• Install and finish drywall with precision for seamless surfaces.
• Perform professional-grade painting and staining to meet quality standards.
• Resolve minor electrical and plumbing issues safely during restoration.
• Complete diverse general handyman tasks to finalize punch lists and ensure client satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized mobile workspace while traveling between locations.
• Collaborate with project managers to provide updates on material needs and timelines.

How You Will Make An Impact

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general construction, remodeling, or property maintenance.
• Proven proficiency in drywall hanging/finishing and finish carpentry.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic "handyman" electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Ability to travel frequently to different job sites as required by the project schedule.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced knowledge of residential and commercial building codes.
• Prior experience in the insurance restoration or disaster recovery industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills when faced with unique field obstacles or mismatched materials.
