Job summary

K Construction, a family-owned Kansas builder, is seeking reliable skilled construction laborers. You will join experienced crews to work on post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial projects across Kansas, assisting from site prep to finishing work.

We offer year-round, steady employment with weekly pay, health insurance, retirement options, and on-the-job training. Candidates should be able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Prev construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, agricultural building, or general labor experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of tools, materials and jobsite safety.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn new construction skills and techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Able to lift, carry, climb, bend and perform physically demanding work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction of post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural and commercial buildings.
• Assist in various concrete-related tasks.
• Prepare jobsites, tools, equipment and materials for daily work.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install building materials and components.
• Assist with framing, roofing, siding, trim, doors and windows.
• Load, unload, move and organize materials.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Follow project plans and crew leaders' instructions.
• Maintain clean, safe jobsites and work with the crew to stay on schedule.
