K Construction in Alta Vista, KS is seeking a dependable Skilled Construction Laborer to join our field crews building post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial structures. You will assist with preparing jobsites, materials, and various building tasks alongside experienced crew members.

Expect hands-on work from framing to finish, with daily tasks such as measuring, cutting, installing components, loading materials, and maintaining safe, clean jobsites.

Qualifications

• Prior construction or labor experience preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction of post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial buildings
• Assist in different aspects of concrete work
• Prepare jobsites, tools, equipment, and materials for daily work

Skilled Construction Laborer

Location:

Alta Vista, KS -- Field-based work on construction projects throughout the surrounding Kansas communities.

We are looking for dependable and hardworking laborers to join our construction team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced crew members to build post-frame, steel-frame, residential, agricultural, and commercial structures. You will assist with projects throughout the construction process, from preparing the jobsite and handling materials to framing, installing building components, and completing finish work.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, carpentry, framing, roofing, agricultural building, or general labor experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and jobsite safety
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn new construction skills and techniques
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, and perform physically demanding work
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Pay and Benefits
