Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a construction laborer in El Paso, TX to erect and set wood and/or metal forms for concrete structures, following blueprints and preparing areas for placement. Expect outdoor work, lifting 80+ lbs, and using hand and power tools with a focus on safety and accuracy.

You will assist with formwork for elevated structures, align forms, pour concrete, and ensure proper elevation and quality on the job site.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of concrete tools, carpentry tools, techniques, and practices.
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and elevations.
• Willingness to work flexible day/night shifts and overtime.
• Commitment to safety and quality on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with erecting vertical forms for elevated formwork and walls.
• Assist with layout and bulkheads for post-tension systems.
• Bolt, nail, and align forms according to layout.
• Prepare areas for concrete placements and grade surfaces.
• Install bracing, shoring, and scaffolding as needed.
• Dig trenches and level earth to spec using basic tools.
• Follow instructions and maintain site safety and efficiency.
