Job summary

Paycom - ATS in El Paso, TX hires a Form Setter to erect and set wood and metal forms for concrete structures such as sidewalks, walls, and slabs. You will install forms for concrete placement and perform labor duties as needed.

Essential duties include constructing vertical forms for columns and retaining walls, aligning and bolting forms, digging and grading, and adhering to safety procedures. High school or equivalent and 2+ years in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

A Form Setter erects and sets wood and/or metal forms for concrete structures, such as sidewalks, walls, and slab on grade. In this position, you will install forms for set concrete placement and perform labor duties as deemed necessary.

Education and Experience:

• High School or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the construction industry.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking on uneven surfaces, including ground in varying weather conditions.
• May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
• Able to push, pull, lift, and carry 80+ lbs.
• Kneel, bend, and stoop repeatedly for extended periods or continually throughout the shift.
• Regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the outdoor elements.
• Exposure to outdoor environment with machinery/equipment in the surrounding area.
• Able to wear personal protective equipment is required, including but not limited to steel-toe shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat, vest, etc.
