Qualifications

• Prior experience in concrete finishing, flatwork, or general concrete construction.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power trowels, bull floats, and screeds.
• Read blueprints and follow project specifications.
• Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• CDL eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pour, spread, and level concrete on flatwork, slabs, driveways, sidewalks, and foundations.
• Use hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces to specified grades and textures.
• Apply curing compounds and sealers to protect finished concrete surfaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and project specifications.
• Set forms and screeds to guide concrete placement and ensure proper elevation.
• Monitor concrete consistency and make adjustments as needed during pours.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with safety standards.
