Job summary

Great Place Construction is seeking a skilled concrete finisher for full-time, year-round work. Wages start between $27 and $32 per hour DOE. Schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends; travel in company vehicles and within 1–2 hours of Sioux Falls is provided.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO and a 401(k) match. Knowledge of concrete finishing, formwork, and reinforcement installation is valued. DL with a good driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Previous concrete finishing experience required.
• Ability to read reinforced steel drawings.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; up to 100 lbs infrequently.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, place and finish concrete.
• Construct, place and strip formwork.
• Install reinforcement steel per project documents.
• Place and strike concrete with mechanical equipment.
• Finish, edge and cut placed concrete.
• Clean up and maintain tools.
• Coordinate installation with field supervision.
• Follow established safety rules and maintain a clean site.
