The position requires reading technical drawings, strong manual skills, and willingness to work long hours and weekends. Travel to multiple sites may be required, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven work experience in construction as a concrete laborer or finisher.
• Knowledge of safety and health protocols in the industry.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, mixer, forklifts, and power washer.
• Excellent physical dexterity and ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to work long hours, weekends, and travel to various sites.

Responsibilities

• Mixing, pouring, spreading, and smoothing concrete.
• Designing and setting up forms.
• Molding expansion joints and edges as instructed.
• Applying decorative elements with stones, color, and sealants.
• Using waterproofing solutions and sealants.
• Estimating materials needed and project timelines.
• Reviewing and repairing concrete structures.
• Cleaning the worksite before and after tasks.
• Adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
• Coordinating material orders and transportation.
• Willingness to pitch in on other trades when needed.
