Century Arms is seeking a reliable CNC operator to run mills and lathes in a heated manufacturing environment. You will perform daily warm ups, load fixtures, read drawings, and ensure parts meet exact specs using gauges and measurement tools.

Responsibilities include tooling inspection, process documentation, ERP data entry, and collaboration with supervisors and quality personnel to resolve issues. The role requires safety compliance, PPE use, and timely completion of tasks to meet daily

Competenze

• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges and indicators.
• Experience withtool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, and accessories used on CNC machines.
• Prior CNC operator experience preferred.
• General mechanical ability and knowledge of hand tools.
• Adherence to attendance and timeliness.
• Ability to follow directions.

Mansioni

• Operate CNC mills and lathes and warm up/shut down equipment daily.
• Read and interpret drawings to determine critical dimensions.
• Load and unload fixtures and set tooling.
• Inspect own work using go/no-go gauges to ensure accuracy.
• Use ERP system to track product through production line.
• Maintain safety and use PPE as required.
• Communicate with supervisors and other departments to resolve quality issues.
• Meet daily production goals by producing required parts and quantities.
• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervision.
