Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and run CNC Mill and/or Lathe machines, ensuring parts meet drawings and specs.

You will prep tools, verify conformance after setup, and communicate any issues to supervision while maintaining proper tool offsets and coolant levels. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of milling/turning experience, and the ability to read blueprints with GD&T.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 18+ years old.
• 3–5 years CNC Mill/Lathe setup and operation experience.
• Experience with Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers; 5-axis preferred.
• Proficiency with micrometers and calipers and GD&T.
• Able to read blueprints and GD&T; stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mill and/or Lathe to produce precision parts.
• Prep tools and workholding per instructions; verify part conformance after setup.
• Inform supervisor of any program or part issues; monitor tool offsets.
• Maintain coolant levels and perform basic deburring; fill in-process inspection forms.
• Install hardware after quality approves part geometry and perform other duties.
