Job summary

Job description

Position Title: CNC Machinist Wage: $23-$27/hour Based on experience Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, Overtime Available Our client in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team in an potential-to-hire capacity. This position is responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, making program adjustments, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced with CNC lathes and mills, including Mazatrol controls.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set up primary equipment and modify programs as needed
• Install tools and fixtures and adjust machine control settings
• Run first-piece samples and verify parts meet specifications
• Operate CNC lathes and mills using G-Code and Mazatrol controls
• Inspect parts for proper dimensions, tolerances, and finish
• Make adjustments to maintain quality and production standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrections
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

CNC Machinist Requirements:

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience required
• Experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills
• Working knowledge of G-Code and Mazatrol controls
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Experience with cylinders or bar-fed machines is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
