Job summary

Zeeco is seeking a Class B/C Fitter/Welder to fit and weld carbon steel and stainless steel assemblies in accordance with WPS and work instructions. You will maintain welding equipment and PPE, and operate within a safety-conscious, team-based environment to meet post-weld testing criteria.

The role requires extensive welding experience, test passage (3G Mig/Fluxcore, 1GR Tig pipe), blueprint literacy, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Specialized welding training and/or 5+ years of related welding experience.
• Must pass 3G plate test in Mig/Fluxcore - 3/4" plate.
• Must pass 1GR all Tig pipe test - 2" schedule 80 pipe.
• Must pass a written fitter test.
• Experience with setup, layout, blueprint reading, weld symbols, and joint configuration.

Responsibilities

• Fit-up and weld carbon steel and stainless steel assemblies per Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and supplies in safe working order.
• Work effectively in a team-based environment and keep a clean work area.
